We are incredibly proud to have partnered with the Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour, an impactful annual event organized by Stichting De Noordzee in collaboration with Boskalis. Since 2013, this initiative has worked tirelessly to clean up the Dutch North Sea coast, raising awareness about marine litter and fostering a healthier environment.

This year’s edition, running from August 1st to 15th, was a remarkable success. A total of 1,977 dedicated volunteers participated, collectively removing 5,103 kilograms of waste and gathering an astonishing 70,181 cigarette butts from our beautiful beaches. The cleanup spanned 30 different stages, covering beaches from Cadzand in the south to Schiermonnikoog in the north, with each stage focusing on the most common and harmful types of litter found on our shores.

On August 9th, iPS Powerful People proudly took part in the cleanup at Hoek van Holland. Our team contributed by collecting 8,785 cigarette butts and 120 kilograms of trash, playing a part in the overall success of this vital initiative.

Why does iPS Powerful People participate in the Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour?

iPS Powerful People participates in the Boskalis Beach Cleanup Tour to contribute to the cleanliness and health of the North Sea. For us, taking part in this initiative is not only about cleaning up waste but also about demonstrating our commitment to the environment and our responsibility as a company within the maritime, energy, and civil industries.
