Function description
Our client operates the world’s largest crane vessels, install and remove offshore structures for the offshore energy markets. Our projects range from installing wind turbines, removing retired offshore oil and gas platforms and installing platforms up to 50,000 metric tons. By joining us, you will play an important part in our unique maritime adventure.
What are you responsible for
- During your watch you are to perform duties on various projects ballasting HMC barges on projects in Malaysia, Vietnam, Oman, Saudi Arabia and North Sea area
- Execution of all work required to ensure seaworthiness of barges in accordance with assignments.
- Instruction of agents and subcontractors in accordance with instructions from Asset Operational Manager.
- Execution of all work required to ensure seaworthiness of barges in accordance with assignments.
- Liaison with technical client / authority representatives during on/off hirings, suitability surveys, audits, load out and tow out preparations.
Requirements
Job requirements
- You have at least 2 years’ experience as 2nd Engineer on board of an offshore vessel
- Valid Seaman’s book
- Your command of the Dutch and English, both written and spoken, is excellent
- BOSIET, including HUET, CA-EBS and Crew Basket
- Valid CoC 2nd Engineer all ships with minimum of 5 years offshore experience
