Short description
Are you an experienced MIG Welder? Our client is in the dredging and offshore industry for more than 30 years. Their scope of works is designing and manufacturing a variety of steel products (pipes, elbows, fittings, plates, and several other special shapes and parts). The pieces weight between 3-7 tons and complete assembly varies from 20 to 50 tons.
Function description
For this position as a Welder, your main responsibilities will be:
- Weld heavy steel structures (between 40mm and 130mm).
- Work based on technical drawings.
- Put the material together and weld it.
Requirements
- EU work permit as the client is based in The Netherlands
- English is the speaking language on the job site, so you need to have at least an intermediate level.
- MIG welding experience (six months minimum) and experience with working with heavy steel
- Knowledge in reading technical drawings.
