Short description
We are seeking experienced and skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team for a long-term project. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel structures and components in a welding factory for offshore vessels/ships.
Function description
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Fabricate steel components using cutting, grinding, and forming tools.
- Perform MIG welding on heavy steel structures.
- Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated parts.
- Operate overhead cranes and other heavy machinery safely.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in heavy steel or shipbuilding industries.
- Proficiency in MIG welding (certifications preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding environments.
- EU citizenship or valid work permit for the Netherlands.
- Intermediate English Level (min. B1).
