Function description
In your role as a 2nd Dredge Operator, you will take command of our cutting-edge dredging vessels and state-of-the-art equipment. Immerse yourself in exciting projects that not only reshape landscapes but also protect the environment. You will operate advanced dredging equipment such as powerful vessels, efficient dredge pumps, and agile excavators. Addressing daily challenges with meticulous inspections and maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance is paramount. Your expertise in coordinating seamlessly with your team ensures that every operation flows seamlessly. Uphold the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility to ensure secure and sustainable project execution. Your ability to swiftly address technical issues and provide essential on-the-spot repairs is critical.
Requirements
Additional Skills Required:
- Proven experience working in Egypt alongside Project and Vessel Staff (Dutch & EU).
- Essential proficiency in Dredge Pipe Repair and Pipeline Replacement.
- Effective supervision of a team of 6 Welders (International team)
- Demonstrated physical strength and resilience for effective work in a hot climate.
