Function description
Are you an experienced Marine Superintendent with a strong background in onboard vessel operations, specifically anchor handling, pipelay, and dredger vessels? We're seeking a professional with expertise similar to that of a "Water boss" for our client in Abu Dhabi, or potentially as a Marine Dredging Superintendent for other companies.
- Oversee and manage onboard vessel operations, including anchor handling, pipelay, and dredging activities.
- Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of floating pipelines.
- Report and recommend necessary rectifications for vessel operations and equipment.
- Coordinate operations with multicat skippers, dredgers, and the dredge superintendent.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on all onboard equipment.
- Prepare detailed reports on vessel operations and project progress.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in marine operations.
- Ideally, experience as a Dredge Master.
- Strong knowledge of dredging techniques and equipment.
- Pipelaying and Anchor handling expertise.
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
