Function description
As a Technical & Maintenance Manager, you will be performing the following activities:
- Technical Coordination: Act as the main contact for all technical and maintenance aspects of assigned units, collaborating with teams such as Supply Chain, HSEQ, and Engineering for comprehensive unit support.
- Performance and Compliance: Partner with offshore management to ensure that unit technical conditions, performance, and maintenance meet client standards and regulatory requirements, including continuous improvements in Asset Integrity Management and CMMS.
- Maintenance and Planning: Oversee maintenance schedules (90-day, annual, and 5-year plans) for repairs, modifications, and shutdowns. Conduct monthly or bi-monthly unit visits to monitor maintenance activities and planning.
- Budget and Cost Management: Develop repair and maintenance budgets, track monthly expenditures, and coordinate with Supply Chain for resource mobilization, including external service providers.
- Critical Support and Resources: Monitor critical spare parts, provide breakdown and overhaul assistance, and coordinate spares and tools as needed.
- Incident and Change Management: Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and provide technical support for MOC processes from planning to implementation.
- Training and Competency: Support maintenance department competency assessments, contribute to training programs, and collaborate with the Life Extension Project Manager on project and operational activity plans.
- Risk and Safety Studies: Engage in risk and safety assessments, including HAZOP, HAZID, and related evaluations.

Requirements
In addition to having experience in this area, we have the following requirements:
Education
- Master’s degree in Engineering
- Other education and / or long relevant experience may compensate lack of formal education
Experience
- Preferably 10 years' experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Previous Manager or Superintendent experience from FPSO's is an advantage
- Previous experience with database systems and maintenance management is an advantage
- Managerial experience is an advantage.
- Experience requirement may vary for existing Maintenance Managers or Internal candidates.

Knowledge
- Good understanding and knowledge of FPSO marine & process systems

Other
- The position will require travel to offshore units.
- The position may require to support the facilities during or outside normal working hours.
