Function description
As Chief Mate on board this CSD you fulfill an important task. You will of course work closely with the master of the vessel, and you will be jointly responsible for the dredging process.
After all, the engineers, pipe operators, deckhands and cook also are under your responsibility. You ensure that everyone performs their tasks efficiently and safely, you supervise dredging activities and maintenance, and you respond alertly and adequately in unexpected (emergency) situations.
You will immediately participate in this experienced team, so that production continues to run smoothly.

Requirements
What do your bring onboard?
- Dutch Certificate of Competency at least Chief Mate 3000GT
- Dutch sample book
- Valid Maritime Approval
- Valid STCW trainings
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Proven experience as Chief Mate on board various (larger) hoppers
