Our client is currently seeking a SITE MANAGER to join their team. This position will be 100% Nationwide Travel & Rotating Schedule 17 days on/11 days off (client will pay to fly them home & back during their 11 days off)
Function description
Assignments will require a rotational schedule of 17:11 ratio: equates to 17-days at work followed by 11-days on time-off. Please note, rotation and travel will be project dependent and could change based on project/vessel requirements.
The Site Manager is responsible for safely and efficiently supervising dredging, beachfill, reclamation, towing, and disposal operations and related dredging project activities. The Site Manager reports to the Project Manager while assigned to his/her respective project.
The successful candidate will have a college level degree in engineering, construction management, or other related technical field, project supervisory expertise, and will have least 5 years relevant experience including dredging and/or marine construction.
PLEASE NOTE - This position is a traveling position & rotation based on client’s project sites. Meal allowance, lodging, and transportation are provided by the Company. The candidate does not pick work location, the Site Manager will be assigned to nationwide projects pending project and their experience.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a college level degree in engineering, construction management, or other related technical field, project supervisory expertise, and MUST have at least 5 years of relevant experience including dredging and/or marine shore side construction. Our biggest gap currently with Site Managers is waterside operations, typically with pipelines and vendor tugs. Marine shore Construction Manager would be ideal.
Must be able to work a rotating schedule of 17 days on/11 days off; client will fly the candidate home and back to project site during their 11 days off.
