Function description
For future vacancies we are currently looking for an Electro-Technical Officer who is familiar with TSHD vessel specifics and job nuances and looking to take a next step in their career within big dredging sector companies.
As an ETO onboard TSHD vessels your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, including generators and power distribution.
- Managing automated systems like engine controls and safety alarms.
- Ensuring proper functioning of communication and navigation equipment
- Overseeing fire detection, emergency power, and other critical safety systems.
- Supporting engineers with electrical components of propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
Requirements
What will you bring?
- Extensive experience as ETO on board TSHD vessels
- Up to date STCW certificates for the position
- Seaman's book
- Seafarer Medical MLC certificate
- Dutch CoC
- Fluent English in writing and word skills
