We are looking a Senior Project Specialist who would like to join in a International Oil & Gas company to work in Mexico City.

Function description

The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Controls Manager to ensure the sucessful initiation, planning, excecution, and closure of projects.

Some of your main tasks & responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager will be:

• Collaborate with Project Manager on all project phases, ensuring adherence to the Stage Gate process;
• Develop and mantain the Project Integrated Schedule, including reviewing suppliers' schedules and manpower plans;
• Develop standardized project forms if not provided by the Global Project Delivery team or relevant central functions;
• Identify and follow up on critical activities, providing timely feedback to the project team;
• Perform schedule risk analyses, identify potential changes, recommend corrective actions, and maintain the project risk register;
• Implement and lead the project change management process, ensuring consistent quality and timely execution;
• Prepare regular progress reports for project management and stakeholders.

Requirements

We have the following requirements for this position:

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field;
• 10+ years of experience in project management in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in the Exploration & Production (EP) and EPCI areas;
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI);
• Familiarity with integration, scope, cost, quality, resourses, procurement, and stakeholders' management;
• Proficiency in scheduling methologies (e.g., critical path, PERT) and risk management processes;
• Strong communication leadership, and multitasking skills;
• Preferred familiarity with Pims and Mexican field development projects;
• Fluency in English is a must.
