Function description
The maritime and offshore energy industry is fast-paced, global, and deeply technical. HR plays a critical role in enabling operational excellence, supporting crews and engineers, and driving transformation across shore-based and offshore teams.
What You’ll Typically Do:
- Act as a strategic sparring partner to senior leaders in engineering, operations, and project management
- Translate business needs into actionable HR strategies across talent, performance, and organizational development
- Support workforce planning, succession management, and leadership development
- Advise on Dutch labor law, compliance, and international mobility
- Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure alignment and consistency across regions
- Contribute to change management, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an HRBP in technical, engineering, or project-based environments
- Strong understanding of Dutch labor law and HR operations
- Ability to navigate matrix organizations and influence across levels
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Experience with offshore, maritime, or energy sectors is a strong advantage
