Function description

As skipper of a multicat you will have supervision of all ship activities and have the final responsibility on board.

Of course, you will make sure the implementation and executing of our client and company policy and the Standing Guidelines.

As skipper you will also oversee co-ordination of crew activities.


When questions, suggestions or comments raise, you will supervise this in consultation with Project Manager regarding the vessels production and work methods on the project.

You will be familiar with negotiations with harbour authorities and double checking and maintaining of safety and environmental regulations on board.

Optimizing of the production and the continuity of the vessel is your cup of tea, also to maintain ships- and personnel administration and comply with national and international maritime law and regulations.


As skipper you will be responsible to appoint the safety committee and the Safety Officer on board and ensures that maintenance is carried out in an efficient and most economical manner in cooperation with TD.

When needed you will contact office about ship related issues.

You have:

  • great communication skills;
  • Are in possession of a good work ethic with a hands on mentality.


  • STCW Requiered documents;
  • GMDSS Restricted Operator Certificate & General Operator Certificate;
  • Medical First Aid;
  • Medical Care;
  • Seafarer Employments Agreement (SEA);
  • Seaman's book;
  • Certificate of Competency;
