Function description

As a Client Representative, you will be performing the following activities:


  • Project Management: Oversee and manage various aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the client and the company, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing client concerns or inquiries.
  • Contract and Agreement Management: Review and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to the project to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work and materials to ensure they meet the client's specifications and industry standards.
  • Cost Management: Control project costs, track expenses, and manage the budget to ensure the project remains financially viable.
  • HSE Compliance: Ensure that Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulations are followed throughout the project to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Develop project schedules, coordinate activities, and make adjustments as necessary to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, assess their impact, and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the interests of the client and the project.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of practices within the sector, technologies, and processes to effectively represent the client's interests.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and document all project-related activities and communications.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permits required for the project.
  • Change Management: Address any changes or deviations from the original project plan, evaluate their impact, and communicate these changes to the client.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management: Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure they meet contract requirements and deliver on time and within budget.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve disputes or conflicts that may arise during the project between various parties involved.
  • Client Satisfaction: Measure and ensure client satisfaction by seeking feedback and making necessary adjustments to meet their expectations.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the client, addressing their concerns or questions related to the project.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the success of the project, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for future improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated on industry developments and ensure the project team receives necessary training and development opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings to benefit both the client and the company.

Requirements

In addition to having experience in this area, we have the following requirements:


  • US citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Management and Administration,
  • GWO Basic Safety Training: (Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling)
  • OGUK Medical certificate including Chester Step Test or approved equivalent.
  • IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet).
  • High focus on quality and safety.
  • Speaks, reads and writes English fluently
  • Can do attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to speak your mind while maintaining a positive atmosphere
  • Recommended to have marine awareness qualifications
  • Recommended to have minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within onshore or offshore construction, trenching, cable laying, WTG Installation, etc.
  • Possibly relevant experience from heavy lifts, transporting heavy loads, loadouts, pile driving
  • Possibly experience with quality inspections and documentation 
  • Experience as client rep on the particular scopes in question.
