Short description
We are currently looking for a skilled Materials and Supply Logistics Analyst to join a multinational inspection, repair and maintenance company operating in the oil, gas and energy sector in Houston, Texas.
Function description
As a Materials and Supply Logistics Analyst you will be responsible for the following:
- Follow and ensure compliance with the Purchasing Procedure defined by the Company,
- Maintain and use the List of Qualified Suppliers according to the Procedures defined by the Company.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions for purchase with suppliers and subcontractors, placing the quality of products and services as a criterion for purchase.
- Respond to purchase requests made by other Sectors in a quick and efficient manner, always looking for the material and service that meets the specifications defined by the users.
- Contract tertiary services (calibration, transportation, internet, and telephone providers, etc.);
- Propose solutions in transportation logistics of equipment and materials;
- Prepare Purchase Orders based on the duly approved requirements made by each Coordinator or Sector, according to the Purchasing Procedures.
- Maintain permanent communication with the Materials Analyst so that information is obtained on the receipt of non-stocked material, and provision of services so that pending purchase orders are closed. Inform each requirement about the arrival of the material to the company. Accompany together with the Materials Analyst all deliveries of materials made totally and partially by suppliers.
- Maintain updated control of data and information on suppliers and subcontractors, including records of their performance. Consult with Coordinators, Technicians, etc. on the quality of services and products, thus knowing their degree of satisfaction.
- Gather the information and documentation necessary for payment to be made to suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure that this information is sent securely and on time to the Financial Sector for payment.
- Qualify and monitor the performance of suppliers. Attend supplier visits.
- Search for suppliers according to the needs of the Coordinators, always complying with the requirements of the IMS.
- Keep the Senior Management informed about the optimization of Procedures and activities that improve costs, time and quality of the purchasing process and materials logistics.
- Control fiscal notes, invoices, measurements and tickets received from suppliers and other third parties;
- Actively participate in the IMS;
- Respond to audits, even if they are not planned;
- Be aware of the importance of the IMS for the company, as well as for all employees;
- In addition to actively participate in the Procedures and RPA's relevant to the Sector, practice the: Safe Work at Desk, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, PAE in Onshore and Offshore Installation.

Requirements
In addition to having experience in this area, we have the following requirements:
- Education: Petroleum Engineering, Maintenance or similar
- Experience of minimum 2 years in similar position.
- Strong skills in organization, good communication and proactivity.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Knowledge in Road Law
- Access to Ports and Maritime Terminals
- Refresher courses in Supply, Purchasing or related areas.
