We are seeking an Operations Manager in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche to ensure the efficiency and profitability of operations by implementing strategies to improve performance, controlling financial resources, and ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards in the oil and gas sector.
Function description
This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations and driving improvements in service quality and performance. The Operations Manager ensures regulatory compliance, enhances team productivity, process improvement and adherence to QHSE standards.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies and monitor budgetary controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Coordinate and evaluate team performance, meeting objectives and deadlines.
- Identify and recommend investments to enhance productivity and operations.
- Supervise internal audits and ensure alignment with QHSE policies.
- Act as a primary contact for external communications while adhering to legal and industry standards.
- Foster teamwork and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve company goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
- Specialization in Project Management (preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and innovations.
- Course in management, negotiation, and human relations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
- Fluent in English.
