We are seeking a self-motivated Business Development Manager to lead all commercial operations and processes for our USA subsidiary. This role focuses on driving organization expansion, ensuring profitability, and maintaining operational safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, particularly in Offshore Drilling and FPSO, and be willing to travel as required.
Function description
The Business Development Manager will oversee commercial operations in the USA region with a focus on global growth. Key responsibilities include planning, executing, and reporting initiatives, evaluating commercial performance, and ensuring alignment with company policies. This role emphasizes maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence while fostering strong client relationships and implementing effective brand strategies.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial operations in the USA region with a global perspective, focusing on developing new business while ensuring profitability, safety, and quality in all operations.
- Manage all administrative aspects related to the commercialization of services.
- Liaise with the head office and prepare quarterly and annual reports.
- Plan, organize, and execute programs, evaluating results to ensure alignment with commercial policies and achievement of expected outcomes.
- Update and maintain customer records, ensuring proper filing and organization within the server.
- Analyze invoicing volumes, sales processes, quotations, commercial proposals, sales reports, customer data, and orders in the system. Develop strategies, monitor operations, and provide support across all areas.
- Conduct thorough research of the region or country, adapting strategies to meet market demands and organizational goals.
- Monitor performance across all commercial levels and schedule training sessions as needed.
- Implement and maintain an effective brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with staff and clients, fostering collaboration and trust.
- Maintain a positive image of the organization at all times.
- Ensure full compliance with the Integrated Management System and QHSE policies.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience leading commercial processes in the Oil and Gas Industry, with a focus on Offshore Drilling and FPSO.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and oversee operations.
