Function description
At iPS Powerful People, we are always on the lookout for talented professionals to join our pool for future offshore projects. While we do not have a specific job opening at the moment, we are proactively building a pool of qualified candidates who are ready to mobilize quickly for upcoming opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Pilot and operate ROV systems to perform underwater tasks, such as pipeline inspection, equipment retrieval, or seabed surveys.
- Navigate the ROV in challenging subsea environments while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre- and post-dive maintenance on ROVs, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair technical issues with ROV components to ensure reliable operations.
- Work closely with offshore and onshore teams, including engineers, surveyors, and project managers.
- Follow all offshore safety regulations and ensure the ROV operations align with industry standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- ROV Pilot Technician training certifications
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with ROV control systems and underwater navigation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, especially in high-pressure environments.
- OPITO BOSIET / HUET incl CA-EBS
- Valid Medical Certification
