As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in developing innovative engineering solutions for offshore energy projects. You will join a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering safe and efficient solutions for installation and decommissioning of offshore structures in a growing and dynamic industry.
Function description
In this role, you will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end project solutions. You will contribute to concept development, detailed engineering, tool design, and procedure preparation, supporting both onshore and offshore execution phases. This position offers the opportunity to tackle challenging projects in the offshore energy sector, with a focus on heavy lifting and renewable energy solutions.
Job Specific Tasks:
- Develop project plans and translate goals into actionable engineering deliverables.
- Interface with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure project alignment.
- Manage and prioritize the team’s engineering deliverables and workload.
- Review and approve technical documentation to meet quality and project standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Support on-site activities during preparation and execution phases, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
- BSc degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering role within offshore, marine, or heavy industry projects.
- Experience as a Lead Engineer or Project Engineer is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and work offshore when required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- A proactive mindset with a strong focus on teamwork and achieving results.
- Interest in developments within the offshore and renewable energy industry.
