Function description
Our trusted global clients are actively working on offshore projects around the world—and they’re always on the lookout for skilled and qualified Officers to join their teams.
As an onboard Officer, your responsibilities include—but are not limited to—the following:
- Maintaining watch at the DP control desk, overseeing the dynamic positioning system and monitoring vessel logistics
- Carrying out instructions from the Chief Mate or Master
- Ensuring full compliance with QHSE and SMS protocols
- Supervising loading/discharging operations and managing (de-)ballasting procedures
- Leading junior officers and deck ratings in daily operations
- Operating all onboard navigation systems
- Performing routine maintenance on deck, including lifesaving and safety equipment
Requirements
- STCW Basic safety 1-4;
- Unlimited DP Certificate (for DP-rig/vessel);
- Seafarer medical;
- Seaman’s Book;
- Passport;
- Fluent verbal and written English;
