Function description
We’re looking for a skilled Second Engineer to join an offshore team. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Chief Engineer in daily operations;
- Operating and maintaining engines, generators, pumps, compressors, boilers, and refrigeration systems;
- Performing regular checks and maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently;
- Assisting with repairs and system upkeep;
- Following safety rules, environmental regulations, and company procedures;
- Guiding and training junior engineering staff.
Requirements
To qualify for this job, a perfect candidate should have:
- COC III/2;
- BOSIET with CA-EBS;
- Valid STCW certificates for the role;
- Offshore medical OGUK;
- MLC medical certificate.
