Function description
Procurement professionals manage sourcing strategies, vendor relationships, and purchasing operations. Officers focus on transactional procurement and compliance, while specialists handle strategic sourcing and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source suppliers and manage procurement processes.
- Negotiate contracts and handle purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality standards.
- Maintain procurement records and systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align purchasing needs.
- Ensure compliance with Dutch procurement regulations.
Requirements
- MBO/HBO-level education or equivalent experience.
- 3–7 years of experience in procurement.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience with procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba).
- Dutch fluency preferred; English required.
- Must reside in the Netherlands with a valid Dutch work permit or EU citizenship.
