Our client operates the world’s largest crane vessels, installs and removes offshore structures for the offshore energy markets. Our projects range from installing wind turbines, removing retired offshore oil and gas platforms and installing platforms up to 50,000 metric tons.
Function description
You will be responsible for the following:
- You suspend and correct any unsafe work in progress and report directly to the HSE Officer
- You stimulate and facilitate the execution of proper toolbox talks on board
- You instruct on required safety precautions in a proactive manner and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and correctly used
- You stimulate and coach on proper implementation of and adherence to Company’s SHE Management System on board
- You propose practical improvements at the workplace in line with the SHE Management System procedures
Requirements
- You have at least 3 years’ experience on board of a heavy lift (>3,000 mT) vessel
- Asbestos Safety, Recognition and incident removal procedures
- BOSIET, including CA-EBS and Crew Basket
- Radio Operator’s Certificate of Competence incl. CAP 413 & 452
- STCW A-VI/1 Basic Safety
- STCW A-VI/2-1 Certificate of Proficiency Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
- STCW A-VI/6-1 Certificate of Proficiency Security Awareness
