We are looking for Chief Officer SDPO experienced on heavy lift vessels. If you have the right qualification, this challenge might be for you.
Function description
As Chief Officer SDPO you are the representative of the Master SDPO on a bridge. In addition to navigation tasks, you ensure the safe and efficient operation of the DP system. Flexibility and attention to health and safety is a must. You are an essential part of the ship’s team.
Main responsibilities:
· Provide a safe working environment for all personnel on deck during watch
· Ensure compliance with relevant safety guidelines and procedures
· Steer the ship both on DP and manually
· Manoeuvre the ship in ports and navigate the ship under all circumstances
· Supervise all bridge operations
· Participate in all requested projects onboard
· Communicate with relevant stakeholders and crew members during the watch
· Contribute and if you see potential improve client’s operational, nautical and technical processes and procedures
Requirements
· At least 24 months of relevant work experience in a position of Chief Officer SDPO
· Certificate of competence
· Experience with heavy lift vessels
· Good command of English language
· Good computer skills
