We are looking for a Steering Engineer to join our long term HDD project in Spain! If you are looking for a permanent position in a leader in the HDD field, then this opportunity is for you!
Function description
Main Duties:
- Operate and calibrate ParaTrack, Gyro and Panthom Steering tools to guide and monitor HDD operations;
- Ensure drill path accuracy through continuous date interpretation and steering adjustments;
- Provide technical support to the HDD team, ensuring smooth operation of steering systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with steering equipment and systems.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily reports on drilling and steering performance

Requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Steering Engineer in HDD projects.
- Expertise in ParaTrack, gyro steering, and Phantom steering tools.
- Strong understanding of underground pipeline installation and borehole alignment.
- Ability to interpret real-time data and adjust drill paths as needed.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or English is a plus.
