We are looking for an experienced HDD Recycling Operator to join an island expansion project in Germany in May!
Function description
As our HDD Recycling Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the recycling unit on a drilling project from a pontoon to an island in a shallow water environment. Your main tasks will be:
- Operate and monitor the HDD recycling unit to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect and maintain screens, ensuring they are clean and free of obstructions
- Measure and record sand content from returned drilling fluids to maintain proper mud properties
- Mix and add drilling fluid additives as instructed by the Mud Engineer
- Properly dispose of empty additive bags and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to the recycling unit and drilling fluid quality
Requirements
For this job, you need to have:
- Right to work in the European Union (Mandatory)
- Good English level (minimum B2)
- Proven experience as a Recycling Operator or in a similar HDD role
- Familiarity with HDD mud recycling systems and equipment
- Willingness to work in a shallow water environment (pontoon-based operations)
- Team player with a commitment to safety
