Short description
We are currently seeking an experienced AVN1600 Operator to join our micro tunneling team for a high-profile infrastructure project in Albi, France. The project involves a 420-meter drive with two vertical curves using an AVN1600 machine.
Function description
For this position, your main tasks will be:
- Operate and monitor AVN1600 micro tunneling equipment during tunneling operations.
- Ensure safe and efficient execution of the drive, including navigation through vertical curves.
- Assist on the assemble and disassemble of site.
- Perform daily checks and basic maintenance on the machine.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuous operation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and project-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating AVN micro tunneling machines (preferably AVN1600 or similar).
- Strong understanding of tunneling operations, including curved drives.
- Ability to work in a rotational schedule (3 weeks on / 1 week off).
- EU work eligibility and willingness to work in France.
- English required.
