Are you a skilled professional in Horizontal Direct Drilling (HDD) looking for a new project? Starting May we are seeking an HDD Rig Driller to work on an exciting project in Poland until end of the summer!
Function description
As an HDD Rig Operator you will drive our client’s 250 ton Rigs from the brand Herren Knecht. This project involves drilling for a cable windmill farm, from the land into the sea. Your main tasks here will be:
- Operate and maintain the rig equipment (for long drives: 1500 meters);
- Ensure the drilling installations are in good conditions and run smoothly,
- Perform regular inspections of the equipment,
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of drilling equipment,
- Coordinate the excavation process and report to the site engineer,
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
For this job, you need to have:
- Right to work in the European Union (mandatory),
- Proficiency in English (minimum B2) (mandatory),
- Relevant experience in a similar role within the construction or tunnelling sector,
- Knowledge of HDD drilling techniques and equipment,
- Experience with bigger sized rigs and longer drives (preferred).
