Celebrating growth, ambition, and the power of shaping your own path. After 15 years at iPS, Lisette’s career story is a testament to curiosity, perseverance, and the courage to evolve. What started as a supporting role has grown into a leadership position at the forefront of Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE) and Sustainability. We sat down with Lisette to reflect on her journey, the company’s transformation, and what continues to inspire her every day.
A career that kept evolving
When Lisette joined iPS in 2011 as an Executive Secretary, she brought with her a strong commercial background as a Senior Consultant in recruitment. Ready for a new challenge, she stepped into a role supporting the Directors while quickly proving her versatility.
“I started by providing senior-level secretarial and administrative support, but over time my role naturally expanded,” she explains. “I took on marketing responsibilities, including organizing events and representing iPS externally. Later, HR tasks were added as well.”
Her ability to adapt led her to take on even more responsibility. In 2016, Lisette became Facility Manager, overseeing office operations and managing a small team alongside her other duties.
But it was an unexpected opportunity that would ultimately redefine her career path.
Finding the right fit in QHSE
“At one point, I was asked to support the QHSE department unofficially,” Lisette recalls. “That’s when I realized how much I enjoyed it. The structure, compliance, and the impact it has on the organization, it just felt right.”
This discovery marked a turning point. In 2021, Lisette became Manager QHSE and made a conscious decision to fully dedicate herself to the field, leaving behind the wide range of responsibilities she had accumulated over the years.
“I started alone, but today we have a team of four. I’m incredibly proud of how we’ve built and professionalized the department together.”
Her journey reached another milestone in 2025, when she stepped into the role of Head of QHSE & Sustainability, a reflection of both her personal growth and the increasing importance of sustainability within iPS.
A company that evolved alongside her
Looking back, Lisette has seen iPS transform significantly. “We’ve always been international, but over the years we’ve really matured as an organization,” she says. “What stands out most is how we strive to be the HR Business Partner to our clients and professionals, not only delivering people, but thinking along with them and offering solutions.”
This shift, she notes, has strengthened relationships and allowed iPS to create a deeper, more meaningful impact.
A milestone project: the first sustainability report
One of the defining challenges in Lisette’s career was leading the creation of iPS’s very first sustainability report.
“It started because we expected to fall under CSRD requirements,” she explains. “Even when that was no longer the case, we decided to continue because we believed it was important.” With no previous framework to rely on, the project required building everything from scratch, from defining content to structuring the report in a meaningful way.
“It was challenging, but with a strong team and clear ambition, we delivered something we’re truly proud of. It’s a milestone that shows where we stand today and where we want to go.”
A culture that drives growth
For Lisette, iPS stands out because of its culture. “There’s a strong sense of respect, trust, and openness,” she says. “If you’re motivated, you really get the opportunity to shape your own career path.” That sense of ownership is something she has experienced firsthand, transforming her role multiple times over the years and taking on new challenges whenever opportunities arose.
A proud moment, and many more ahead
Becoming Head of QHSE & Sustainability remains one of Lisette’s proudest achievements. “It felt like recognition for years of hard work, growth, and dedication. But more importantly, it’s a responsibility I take very seriously.” Looking ahead, she remains motivated by the future: “I’m proud of how far we’ve come as a team, and I’m excited about everything we will continue to achieve.”
Life beyond iPS
Outside of work, Lisette’s world revolves around her family. “With a young son and daughter, life is wonderfully busy,” she smiles. “I love spending time together and being present in this phase of their lives.” When she does find time for herself, she enjoys reading and staying active. “I recently started playing hockey, which has been a fun new challenge. Before that, I enjoyed tennis and boxing, it’s great to be active again.”
Looking back with gratitude
Reflecting on her 15-year journey, Lisette is clear about what matters most: “I’m truly grateful for the trust, freedom, and support I’ve been given, not just in my role, but in my development. iPS is a place where we keep growing, improving, and challenging ourselves. And I’m looking forward to everything that’s still ahead.”
