15 November 2023

The Dutch government aims to realize a local transition in energy supply; by 2023, offshore wind farms will have to be supplying 4,500 megawatts (MW) of power.

One of the offshore wind farms being build is Hollandse Kust Zuid. This site is 18 kilometres off the coast, in the area between The Hague and Zandvoort, and will consist of 140 wind turbines.

iPS had the opportunity to supply personnel for different clients working on this project, having candidates involved in the following scopes of work:

  • Installation of substation.
  • Transportation and installation of secondary steel.
  • Installation of monopile foundations.
  • Installation of different cables including subsea, export and onshore cables.

In addition to this, we also supplied personnel on different support vessels involved in this project.

Overall, a very successful project and a step forward in the Dutch energy transition!
