iPS Powerful People: A Sustainable Success Story

At the vibrant heart of the maritime, energy, construction and survey industries, we are always ready to recruit and place the right candidates with our clients. For us, it is never just about profit. It is also about building a better future and creating equal opportunities. Among other things, we supply candidates for sustainable projects such as the construction of wind farms.


To measure our social value, we commissioned a social handprint.


Good health and well-being

To ensure the good health and well-being of our employees, we uphold a number of initiatives. For instance, we ensure clear agreements on overtime and accessibility outside working hours to promote a healthy working environment. Employees receive support in recovering in case of overexertion and the organisation arranges team outings and teambuilding activities. Personal development through training and investment in mental well-being are also priorities. We invest in healthy meals and create ergonomic workplaces.


Gender equality and Bridging the Pay Gap

We strive for gender equality, which is a crucial factor for the SDG “Gender Equality.” For instance, there is virtually no gender pay gap within our company.


Affordable and Sustainable Energy

To contribute to the SDG “Affordable and Sustainable Energy,” we are taking measures to reduce CO2 emissions. We invest in energy-saving measures, such as insulation, energy-efficient lighting and water-saving plumbing.

Reducing Inequality and Responsible Consumption and Production

We promote inclusiveness by engaging employees from migrant backgrounds. We also take measures to support responsible consumption and production, such as the economical use of office supplies.


Climate Action

We are taking steps to reduce CO2 emissions, for example by carpooling, online meetings, working from home, flexible working hours and limiting flight hours


Life on land

The future of our planet has been a major agenda item in recent years. By 2022, we will have offset 135,000 kilograms of CO2.


Peace, Justice and Strong Public Services

Although no direct impact value was calculated for the SDG “Peace, Justice and Strong Public Services,” we are actively involved in democratic processes through a focus group.


Partnership to Achieve Objectives

We underline our commitment to achieving the SDGs through social support to external organisations and knowledge sharing with other companies.

Our social handprint shows that it is possible to have a positive impact on society and the environment while being successful.
