This month, we proudly celebrate a remarkable milestone: Laura’s 5-year anniversary at iPS.
From starting her career in Mexico to taking on new horizons in the Netherlands, her journey has been defined by curiosity, courage, and an unwavering commitment to people, clients and colleagues alike. We sat down with Laura to look back on five years of growth, memorable challenges, and exciting leaps across borders.

“It’s been a wild ride, in the best possible way.”

How has your career at iPS evolved over the past 5 years?

Laura: “I started in Mexico as an Account Manager, where I had the chance to learn about these incredible industries. Later, I moved into what I truly love: business development. Working with clients, bringing solutions, and giving them peace of mind, clients who eventually became friends, has been energizing.”

Moving to the Netherlands marked a new chapter.

“Now that I’m in the Netherlands, it feels like a major step forward. My scope is bigger, the challenges are exciting, and working in such a multicultural, international environment genuinely gives me life.”

What are the biggest changes you’ve seen at iPS?

Laura: “Despite constant industry changes and shifting regulations, iPS has navigated everything successfully while staying true to its roots: open-book policy, transparency, and reliability.”

And with growth comes better tools and more helping hands: “We definitely have cooler tools and a bigger team now to support the business!”

Can you share a challenging project you worked on?

Laura: “The Murphy Exploration Campaign was definitely a challenge. We were mobilizing expat personnel from all over the world, coordinating deployments, and staying in constant contact with the client. We spoke every single day, sometimes more than I spoke with my own team!”

Despite the pressure, she remembers it as a highlight: “It was intense, but incredibly rewarding.”

What do you enjoy most about working at iPS?

Laura: “iPS is built by amazing individuals with unique backgrounds, and together they bring personality, expertise, and a lot of heart.”

Being global while staying close to clients makes the work meaningful: “Being an international company with local offices allows us to truly understand our clients and the needs of each project.”

A proud moment?

“Moving to the Netherlands, without a doubt.”

Relocating wasn’t just a professional step, it was a life milestone: “This opportunity has been a major milestone in my career, and I couldn’t be happier to join this office.”

Anything else you’d like to share?

Laura: “Here’s to the next five!”

What does your free time look like these days?

Laura: “Free time? At the moment it mostly looks like apartment hunting and learning how to survive in a new country!” But even in the middle of major life changes, she keeps close to what matters: “I love staying connected with my family, spending time with friends, and traveling, that’s what makes me happiest.”

New adventures seem to suit her: “I enjoy learning new things and experiencing ‘firsts,’ so moving to a new country has definitely brought plenty of happiness (and adventures).”

🎉 Congratulations, Laura!

Thank you for five years of dedication, energy, and heart. We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished, and even more excited for everything still to come.
