Looking back on when I first joined iPS, it’s incredible to see how much I’ve grown. I started at 21 with little knowledge of the energy industry or workforce solutions, stepping into one of my first professional roles.
Over the past five years, I’ve developed both personally and professionally. What began as uncertainty about my career path has transformed into clarity and confidence. Today, I feel equipped with the experience and knowledge to continue building a meaningful career in the energy sector.
What are the biggest changes you’ve seen at iPS?
iPS has evolved significantly in recent years, especially in how we deliver our services. There’s been a clear shift toward a more proactive, structured, and client-focused approach.
We have also strengthened our market position through key milestones such as achieving B Corp certification and continuously improving our sustainability efforts. These developments reflect iPS’s commitment to responsible business practices and high-quality workforce solutions.
Can you share a challenging project you worked on?
One of my biggest challenges came early in my career at iPS, working on a large crewing and project management assignment in Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico. With limited experience, I was given significant responsibility from the start, which felt overwhelming at first.
Thanks to the support of my manager and the trust placed in me, I was able to successfully manage the project. It became a defining learning moment in my career.
Another challenging project involved urgently sourcing more than ten specialized profiles, particularly motormen, within a tight deadline. By leveraging strong relationships with candidates and our extensive talent database, we successfully delivered on time.
What do you enjoy most about working at iPS?
The dynamic nature of my role is what I enjoy most. No two days are the same, which keeps my work exciting and engaging.
I also value the relationships I build with candidates, clients, and colleagues. Working at iPS means being part of a supportive, collaborative team where we learn from each other and celebrate successes together.
What is a proud moment in your career?
What makes me most proud is the positive impact I have on candidates. Providing a high-quality recruitment experience and supporting people in their careers is incredibly rewarding.
Receiving messages from candidates thanking me for my guidance, communication, and dedication truly motivates me. Building long-term relationships, even when there isn’t an immediate placement, is something I deeply value.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your journey at iPS?
Reaching my five-year anniversary at iPS is something I’m very proud of. It has been a journey filled with growth, learning, and meaningful connections.
I feel grateful to be part of such a supportive and ambitious team, and I’m excited to continue contributing to iPS’s growth in the years ahead.
Outside of work: What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy a mix of social and relaxing activities. I love spending time with my family and my pets, I have two dogs and a cat.
I also enjoy exploring new restaurants with friends and spending evenings on rooftops in Mexico City. At the same time, I appreciate quieter moments like visiting bookstores, museums, or simply walking through the city with a good coffee.
