After five years at iPS, Gintarė reflects on her journey, growth, and the changes she has witnessed within the company. From returning to work after parental leave to becoming a confident professional in an international environment, her story is one of development, resilience, and dedication.
How has your career at iPS evolved over the past 5 years?
Over the past five years, I’ve grown together with iPS. During this time, iPS Baltics became a fully integrated part of the global iPS group, following the transition from Lithuanian ownership.
I actually joined iPS after returning from parental leave, which meant I had to relearn many things and readjust after a long break. Step by step, I regained my confidence, took on more responsibilities, and developed professionally within an international environment.
What are the biggest changes you’ve seen at iPS?
One of the biggest changes has been the company’s growth and its stronger integration into iPS global. Over time, we’ve become more connected with international teams and collaborate much more closely on a global level.
At the same time, processes have become more digital and streamlined. This has improved efficiency and made our daily work more structured and modern.
Can you share a challenging project you worked on?
One of the most challenging projects was transitioning from Excel-based processes to the MSF and MSR automated system. It was particularly complex because we had to adapt it for both Lithuania and Latvia while ensuring full compliance and accuracy.
It pushed me to think critically, stay detail-oriented, and collaborate closely with others.
What do you enjoy most about working at iPS?
I really appreciate being part of a growing company that values its people. There’s a strong sense of trust, and employees are encouraged to keep learning and developing.
That combination makes it a motivating and supportive environment to work in.
What has been a proud moment in your career?
For me, a proud moment is realizing how much I’ve grown. I remember a time when I saw iPS every day on my way to work and was wondering if I could ever work there. And 5 years ago I had the opportunity to start my career at iPS and that feeling is something I’m truly proud of. My experience at iPS has been a journey of steady growth and adaptation. Every step has contributed to where I am today.
Outside of work: what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy living an active and healthy lifestyle. My mornings start early, usually around 5:20 a.m., with training, whether it’s CrossFit or a morning run. Staying physically active helps me maintain energy, focus, and balance, both in my personal life and at work.
