On June 17–18, iPS proudly participated in Global Offshore Wind 2025, hosted by Renewables UK at ExCeL London. Under the inspiring theme “Mission: Possible,” the event brought together global leaders, innovators, and professionals to tackle the ambitious offshore wind targets set for 2030. Our colleagues Arnould and Yan were eager to explore what the event had to offer—and it did not disappoint.
Industry pulse: rising innovation
The industry’s momentum remains strong, especially in areas like floating offshore wind, which continues to gain traction across Europe.
We also noted a significant presence of Asian manufacturers, particularly from China, signaling a shift in the global supply chain landscape.
Meaningful connections and familiar faces
We had several engaging and productive conversation. From reconnecting with former iPS colleagues to discussing industry trends with new acquaintances. It was especially rewarding to hear that many Dutch professionals were already familiar with iPS and our expertise. This recognition gave us a great platform to showcase our expanding services, including white-collar support and our growing payroll solutions.
Beyond the exhibition floor
The event’s manageable size allowed us to connect with all the relevant stand holders over the two days. But the experience didn’t stop there. The day before the exhibition, we attended a floating offshore wind seminar and networking reception at the Dutch Embassy, co-hosted by Holland House of Wind Energy and NMT-IRO. This offered a more intimate setting to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations.
One standout moment was a conversation with a representative from OEUK, the leading voice for the UK offshore energy sector. To our surprise, they were already familiar with iPS—thanks to our operations in Mexico. It was a powerful reminder of how interconnected the global offshore energy community truly is.
