Function description
A Fleet Manager plays a crucial role in maintenance, and overall performance of our fleet. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring a cost-efficient and operational fleet complying with safety standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor, optimize, and report the fleet performance and efficiency
- Set and track team and equipment performance targets.
- Supervise service engineer and workshop activities.
- Implement and oversee proactive maintenance for the equipment to minimize downtime and ensure performance.
- Work with workshop team to schedule regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs.
- Coordinate with project manager to align fleet resources with project timelines and specifications.
- Ensure that all earthmoving machinery meets project specifications and follows industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets for the fleet, focusing on cost-effective maintenance and resource optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a similar position
- Background in crane, heavy lift, or earthmoving
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Maritime Engineering
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with project management for large scale projects
- Professional fluency in Dutch
