Function description
As a Motorman, you will be performing the following activities:
- Responsible for operating and controlling the main engines and propulsion systems of the towing vessel;
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on the vessels machinery;
- Monitor fuel consumption and ensure suffient fuel is stored on the vessel to operate throughout the entire voyage or towing operation;
- Work closely with the captain, chief engineer, and other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the tugboat;
- Comply with all applicable maritime safety regulations and standards in handling and storing fuels, lubricants, and other hazardous materials, as well as in operating machinery.

Requirements
In addition to having experience in this area, we have the following requirements:
- Experience in dredging operations. Including experience with maintenance of the vessels propulsion systems and machinery.
