Function description
As a Backhoe Operator on board a dredger/pontoon you have a specialist and important position. You contribute to an optimal production during dredging, but you are also responsible for the maintenance of the crane you are working with. You are in close contact with the bargemaster and of course the rest of the crew. Hard work is not an issue for you, and safety is highest priority for you.
Requirements
The requirements may be difference per project, but basically you always need:
- STCW Basic Safety Training
- Seamansbook
- Medical Health Certificate for Seafarers
- Proven experience as backhoe operator
- Allowed to work in the EU
