Our client is looking for a qualified Senior/Lead Technical Engineer to join our consulting team in Houston, Texas.

Function description

  • Are a qualified structural or hydro/marine engineer
  • Have post-graduate experience (ideally 10+ years)
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills (technical/English)
  • Have experience with OrcaFlex, SHEAR7, AQWA (or similar) Star CCM+, ABAQUS, Python, Matlab
  • Are customer-oriented and enjoy solving complex engineering challenges
  • Enjoy working in a small and highly technical and specialized team
  • Value a hybrid working environment

Requirements

  • Texas PE qualification (or willingness to apply)
  • Willingness to assist with business development activities including attending conferences and giving technical papers
  • Experience in a leadership role directing specialist engineering resources
  •  
  • Ideally, we are looking for someone who is legally authorized to work in the United States, but we would also consider TN sponsorship for the right applicant.
