We are looking for a experience Accountant who would like to join an International Oil & Gas company to work in Mexico City.
Function description
As an Accountant you will be required to perform with the following duties:
- Responsible for preparing the quarterly financial statements to be presented to local authorities.
- Responsible for monthly closing entries such as provisions and tax accounting for all entities in Mexico.
- In charge of monthly balance reconciliations.
- Ensures continuous compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the banking module in SAP.
- In charge of loans and cash pooling entries.
- Provides support for internal and external audits of financial statements.
Requirements
In addition to having experience in this field, you must comply with the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- More than ten (10) years of experience in accounting processes and month-end
- procedures (preferred experience in the oil and gas industry).
- Proven knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Demonstrated competence in ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Experience in the Energy sector and legislation (Hydrocarbons Law).
- Advanced English (Is a most-have).
