Barge Operators wanted for project in Denmark

Short description

For offshore activities starting on the end of January we are looking for skilled and dedicated Barge Operators for multiple vessels (multipurpose pontoon, spreader pontoon, protection layer pontoon, immersion pontoons and auxiliary equipment) who will be operating in the foreshore between Denmark and Germany.

Function description

As Barge Operator you oversee the barge, positioning manoeuvring and operations under the directive of the Barge Master. The Barge Operator can be Head of the Watch. Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring safe operations during the respective barge operation to ensure production activities are carried out as optimal and safe as possible. You are part of the marine crew but will work closely together with the Operations Superintendent and Survey department. The project is designing and constructing the Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world. Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

Requirements

  • EU Passport or Schengen visa
  • Medical Certificate
  • COC
  • You are familiar with computer-based maintenance programs for offshore units.
  • Seaman's Book
