Function description
At iPS Powerful People, we are always on the lookout for talented professionals to join our team for future offshore projects. While we may not have a specific job opening at the moment, we are proactively building a pool of qualified candidates for upcoming opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair rigging equipment, including ropes, cables, hoists, and winches, on offshore platforms or vessels.
- Perform rigging operations to safely lift, move, and secure heavy objects and equipment, following established safety procedures and regulations.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) systems on offshore structures to prevent corrosion and ensure structural integrity.
- Conduct routine inspections of ICCP systems and associated equipment to identify and address any issues or deficiencies.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to plan and execute rigging and ICCP-related activities efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a rigger in offshore environments, with a strong understanding of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to rigging operations and corrosion control in offshore settings.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
