Function description
As an Electro-Technical Officer on board the offshore Heavy Lift Crane vessel, your responsibilities include overseeing electrical systems and ensuring their proper functioning, maintenance, and repair. Maintenance and troubleshooting of navigational and communication systems are vital for safe offshore operations. You are always on top of the safety compliance and ensure all electrical safety standards, maritime regulations, and international codes at all times and as well, you are prepared to respond swiftly to electrical emergencies and emergencies at sea, ensuring the safety of the crew.
Electro-Technical Officer collaborates with other departments and team members to ensure seamless vessel operations; as well as keeps detailed records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and operational procedures. As a qualified candidate for this vacancy, you know how to provide technical support to the crew and actively contribute to the overall efficiency of the vessel
Requirements
To qualify for this job, see the below requirements:
- EU passport
- BOSIET / or HUET (FOET) with CA+EBS
- Medical certificates
- Boat Transfer and GWO certification
- STCW certification
- ETO COC
- Experience onboard heavy lift vessels is a plus
- Good level of English
