Function description

At iPS Powerful People, we are always looking for talented professionals to join our team for future offshore projects. While we may not have a specific job opening at the moment, we are actively building a pool of qualified candidates who are ready to mobilize quickly for upcoming opportunities.

Responsibilities:



1. Prepare equipment for lifting, including inspecting rigging gear, securing loads, and coordinating with team members.
2. Perform pulling or hoisting tasks using ropes, chains, hoists, or cranes to move heavy objects into position on offshore platforms or vessels.
3. Strip equipment, materials, or components from offshore structures safely and efficiently, following established procedures and safety protocols.
4. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that rigging operations are carried out effectively and in accordance with project plans.
5. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during rigging operations.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a rigger in offshore environments, with a strong understanding of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
2. Knowledge of pulling, hoisting, and stripping procedures in offshore settings, including familiarity with relevant equipment and tools.
3. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to rigging operations and corrosion control in offshore settings.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Physical fitness and agility to perform rigging tasks safely in challenging offshore conditions, including confined spaces and adverse weather.
