Function description
At this moment, we are in search of a skilled 2nd Engineer for a project in the United Kingdom. This role is designated for a specific project starting from the 2nd of July to the 8th of August 2024. The 2nd Engineer on a fallpipe vessel is responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the vessel's engineering systems. This role ensures that all machinery and equipment are functioning efficiently and safely, supporting the vessel's primary function of subsea rock installation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the engine room.
- Monitor and maintain the main and auxiliary engines and related machinery.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of all mechanical and electrical systems.
- Perform repairs as needed to ensure continuous operation of the vessel.
- Ensure all engineering operations comply with international and company safety standards.
Requirements

- UK work permit
- DP certificate
- Relevant Offshore certificates
- Strong problem-solving skills
