Requirements

Stepping up as a 2nd Engineer means taking charge of the engine room with confidence and technical skill. Here is what you need to bring on board to succeed and grow with us.

• Overhauling auxiliary engines and ensuring smooth main propulsion performance during your watchkeeping duties.

• Troubleshooting complex machinery, fuel systems, and hydraulic setups while underway.

• Mentoring junior crew members and embracing strong internal career development opportunities toward a Chief Engineer role.

• Holding a valid CoC - Second Engineer (STCW III/2) alongside High Voltage certification.

• Possessing up-to-date mandatory credentials, including Basic Safety Training (STCW VI/1), Advanced Firefighting (STCW VI/3), and Medical First Aid (STCW A-VI/4.1).
