We are looking for a Social Manager who would like to join their next challenge within the Oil & Gas industry to work in Mexico City.
Function description
As a Social Manager your main responsabilitie will be:
- Incorporate CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) into the company's overall long-term strategy.
- Ensure the organization’s processes and practices are ethical both socially and environmentally. CSR will ensure that the company reduces and avoids damaging effects on the environment from business activities, always promoting a sustainable approach.
- Create and implement a Business Unit’s social responsibility strategy
- Promoting partnerships with Stakeholder, throughout relationship with employees, internal areas (HR, Communication, Legal, Operations), contractors, suppliers, communities, and social groups.
- Raise internal awareness of CSR issues to successfully integrate them into the organization's DNA.
- Ensure the compliance with Legal Company’s policies.
Requirements
To be considered you must have the following experience:
- Bachelor´s in Sociology, Law, Agronomy or Sustainability
- Master’s degree or Diploma in Social Responsibility or Sustainable Development (desired)
- Minimum experience of 8 years in community relations management and institutional relations, preferably in the oil sector.
- Knowledge in social responsibility policies, crisis, and conflict resolution.
- Fluent English
